Gift cards to give in the Ramadan season

In Islam, Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the holy month for fasting. It begins with the crescent moon appearing and ends with its disappearance. Ramadan begins 10–12 days earlier than the Gregorian calendar year because the Muslim calendar year is shorter, which permits it to fall in every season across a 33-year cycle. For example, in 2022, Ramadan takes place from Saturday, April 2, to Sunday, May 1. Depending on the crescent moon’s appearance, there may be a difference in dates between countries.)

The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad at the end of Ramadan, on a night during the 27th of the month known as the “Night of Power.” That night is commemorated on one of the last 10 nights of Ramadan, usually the 27th night of the month, and is considered a sign for the people. In Islam, Ramadan is a time of introspection, communal prayer (ṣalāt) in mosques, and Qur’anic reading. In the holy month of Ramadan, those who fast, pray, and make faithful intentions to God are forgiven for their past sins.

However, Ramadan is not primarily a period for atonement but rather a period of self-restraint as part of the pillar of Islam (the five basic tenets of the Muslim faith). The term Ṣawm may be most commonly understood as the obligation to fast for the month of Ramadan. Still, it is also broadly applied to the obligation to abstain from eating, drinking, and engaging in sexual activity between dawn and dusk and thinking impure or unkind thoughts. Therefore, false words, bad deeds, or bad intentions can also quickly damage.

After the sunset prayer, many Muslims eat a meal called ifṭār in their homes or mosques with friends and family. As was the custom of Muhammad, the ifṭār usually begins with dates, apricots, water, or sweetened milk. During the night, there are additional prayers, called tawar** prayers, which are best performed in a congregation in a mosque. It is possible to recite the entire Qurʾān during these prayers over the month of Ramadan. Several Muslim-majority countries adjust and sometimes reduce work hours during the day to accommodate such acts of worship in the evening. According to the Qurʾān, eating and drinking are permissible until the “white thread of light is distinguished from the dark thread of night at dawn.” This is why some Muslim communities ring bells or sound drums to let others know that it is time for the suḥūr or pre-dawn meal.

Eating or drinking at the wrong time can invalidate an Ṣawm, but an extra fasting day can compensate. After Ramadan ends, additional fasting days may be substituted for anyone who becomes ill during the month or who must travel. In addition, you can practice volunteer work, perform righteous works, or feed the poor as a substitute for fasting. Adults and older children who are physically able to fast during daylight hours fast between dawn and dusk. Those who are pregnant, nursing, children, the elderly, the wounded, and those traveling for long distances are exempt from the fasting requirements.

In Islamic tradition, Eid al-Fitr, or “Feast of Fast-Breaking,” ends Ramadan; Eid al-Adha, a pilgrimage to Mecca, which every Muslim should do at least once in their lifetime, marks the end of Hajj (the other is the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha). People gather to exchange gifts, visit relatives’ graves, cook special pastries, exchange new clothes, and pray in a mosque during Eid al-Fitr in some communities.

Eid al-Fitr is here, and it is a time to bear gifts to friends, families, and relatives. If you are oblivious of the kind of gifts you can give to your friends and family, gift cards are the best option.

Gift cards are prepaid stored-value money cards, usually issued by retailers or banks, that can be used instead of cash at a store or related businesses. Gift cards are also called gift certificates in North America, gift vouchers, or gift tokens in the UK. They are also given as rewards and gifts.

HOW TO TRADE

Gift cards are easy to find nearly anywhere, particularly on reliable and fast platforms like CardVest. However, you will have to establish relationships with various businesses if you plan to trade with gift cards.

1. Create an account

To begin trading, you need to create an account with a reliable and trustworthy platform like CardVest. CardVest does not ask for other private information other than your email and phone number, as a reliable platform of its kind would not ask for such information. As soon as you create an account with a password, you’ll see cards, transactions, profiles, referrals, and other information.

2. Trading process

Once you have checked the rates calculator, you can proceed to trade your gift card. Another important section is where you have to add your bank account to withdraw money later; only your account number and bank name are required, no private information.

When your account has been added, you will receive a notification to confirm that your account has been added.

Next, select the card category, such as Amazon, enter an amount, then proceed to trade. Upload the image of the card afterward by selecting a file. Additionally, you can put the money directly in your bank account instead of your trading wallet, and your bank account will now process any transactions.

It is also recommended that you check the terms of trade for more details. After that, you can place your order.
